Elite Crown Ro
Dear Homeowner, If you are reading this brochure, it would be fairly safe to assume your neighborhood has recently experienced a hailstorm. Over the next several weeks (and perhaps months), you will most likely receive multiple solicitations from roof contractors. Before you let a contractor on your roof, please consider the paragraph below. First things first: your property has a beautiful, historical, and expensive roof. Your roof is directly tied to your property value and therefore, needs to be handled properly by the right contractor in order to protect the value of your asset. Not all roofing professionals know how to handle the type of tile that is currently used on your roof. Proper equipment and skills are needed to even walk on your roof without breaking the tiles. Furthermore, not many contractors will know what true hail damage looks like on historical tiles. The additional damage caused by mishandling those tiles will not be covered by your insurance company which can deepen the extent of your losses. Owners of properties with historical tile must use contractors with experience handling insurance claims of such magnitude. Insurance claims involving historical tiles are much more complex than the regular roof claim. Adjusters are not able to put this sort of project into their software as they would on a composition shingle roof. Not knowing what is involved in the repair of a historical roof will leave gaps in the job that will ultimately affect your property value. Precision Construction & Roofing has extensive experience inspecting, installing as well as repairing tile roofs like yours. In fact, that's what we do 365 days of the year so we are truly "Historical Tile Specialists". Precision Construction & Roofing personnel have been factory trained and are one of the very few "Crown Contractors" in the United States - an honor bestowed by Ludowici Roof Tile to only a select number of roofing contractors. There is an art to restoring these roofs that we are proud to say we have mastered through time and experience. Please give us a call today for a complimentary consultation and no obligation droned roof inspection. Thank you, Precision Construction & Roofing

Does your tile roof have hail damage?
Roof damage caused by hail as little as l" in diameter, in which the surface of the tile is cracked or chipped, will compromise the integrity of the tile. These cracks and chips decrease the breakage strength of the tile. Additionally, when the tile is new the moisture absorption is negligible (less than 1 %). When hail damage compromises the finish of the tile, it will allow moisture to accumulate in the craters and in the cracks created by the hail on the body of the tile. As the moisture freezes, it enlarges the fissures/cracks/craters and the end result is failure of the tile. After your tile has cracked, essentially failed, your protection from leaks will be your underlayment. Your underlayment life expectancy is far less than your clay roofs life expectancy. If your roof is over 50 + years old, you can assume your underlayment is not functioning thus your home is not protected from the elements. Precision has factory training from the Tile Institute as well as Ludowici Roof tile and, of course, plenty of hands,on experience to inspect your roof for any possible problems. Precision offers a complimentary drone inspection of your roof with a 15,point inspection report so you can feel confident your roof is functioning as intended.
